Civil Claims
- The Zanesville Municipal Court hears cases for money damages that do not exceed $15,000 in damages. Civil cases with a claim amount of $6,000 and up to $15,000 will be heard in Civil Claims Court. Claims that are less than $6,000 will be heard in Small Claims Court. Individuals and businesses such as corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships, can sue and be sued in Civil Claims Court.
